Montana in Pictures

I thought I would share a few pictures of my trip to Montana. Even though the weather was a tad inclement, Montana was beautiful, the people were wonderful, and the food was, well I really can't say anything about the food. I don't eat meat and that was a predominate ingredient in all their dishes. But the scenery was great!

Took a boat trip up the Missouri River.

Through the "Gates of the Mountains".

Just like Lewis & Clark did in 1803-04.

Except our boat had an engine!

One day we had a little bit of extra time.
So we rented a car and headed to the mountains.
What a spectacular drive.

Wide open spaces!

Green Trees!
A treat for those of us from Phoenix.

Wildflowers!

Pine Trees!

Rustic farm stuff!

Water!
Lots and Lots of water!

More wide open spaces!

And even more wide open spaces!

Montana can't be beat for wide open spaces.
Stunning vistas.
Majestic mountains.
Wildlife.
Not so wildlife.
and
Terrific people.

A big Thank You to the Montana State Library and Archives for hosting the conference and to the people of Montana for being so gracious.

Love,
M
