It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.


Would you be mine?

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.


So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:

    What beautiful green lawn you have! And I love gardenias. And I love the sound of running water. A lovely backyard.

    {sigh} So lovely. One problem with being away last week is that much of my yard isn't planted yet, just my perennials. But since it's 43 degrees as I type, I'm guessing I have time. Can I come hang out in your yard?

    I'll be right over to smell that gardenia! I love gardenias, and I think that is the most gorgeous scent in the world. Lookin' good!

    Oh man, that is cruel! First taunting me with pink drinks and now lush greenery! I recognized the gardenias (how's THAT, coming from a native "it's a dry heat!" westerner, but what's the other stuff?

    IMHO, "pot culture" is the only way to go for easy, fabulous gardening. You can keep those pots and yer pink drink makin' self happy year 'round!

    I will surely be your neighbor, especially if your yard looks that nice. Our neighbors all have dingy yards and we're the only ones who have any landscaping. Grr. So yeah, let's be neighbors!
