JR goes to Washington DC

While I am busy workshopping JR is taking in the sites of Washington DC.
Let's see a bit of the sites through JR's eyes.

He checked out the Library of Congress
or as I like to call it
The Mothership

He must have thought the ceilings were cool.
Well, they are.

He made his way to the National Botanical Gardens
From the amount photos that he took you could tell he is a farmer at heart.

Flowers

More flowers

And even more flowers.

I'm very glad that he is having a great time.

Love,
M

  1. Hey! This is my neck of the woods.

    Isn't DC pretty cool?

Enjoy your trip. If your ever out here again we should meet up for a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

  2. DC has an amazing number of really cool things, it's hard to see them all! I've been there 10-12 times, and every time I go I find somewhere amazing that I hadn't been yet. Those flowers are spectacular.

  3. We have birds of paradise in front of our office building. I don't know why, but I don't like them. Weird.

  4. I'd love to get lost in the Library of Congress, but I doubt they let you wander too many of the stacks.
Some day I will get out to DC to visit the Smithsonian.

  5. How in all that's holy do you orientate yourself in that city when every building has a portico of gigantic columns.
