Struggling Economy

In light of the struggling economy
dinner conversation the other night focused on the question,
If we had to eat one of the dogs which would we choose.

The young, tender, lean one

Or the older, shorter, well marbled fat one?

??????

Love,
The vegetarian that would never even consider eating one of the precious puppies.

  2. I was thinking, as I read the first couple lines, that if the economic situation really got that bad you wouldn't be able to afford to feed the dogs, and they may end up eating you! I wonder if they check out the three of you and discuss which one they would devour first? (I'm not really a dog person, so I find that rather amusing. Sorry.)

  6. I'm with Casey and the Captain....fat is yummy. I'll bet you could get three or four meals out of that dog, easy.

  8. Ahhhh. Well, our dog has no worries. He knows we wouldn't eat him, no matter what, because he's spoiled.

  11. whoever had given me the most "lip" in the last two days would be the first to go and I'm guessing that would not be one of those adorable dogs.

  13. I'm with Casey, fat=flavor. LOL. Actually, over the weekend, the heat briefly went out at the mountain house, and after five minutes I was looking around trying to decide who we should eat first.
